“Here at eighteen hockey, we are immensely proud to have developed our partnership with the Mercian Marauders. The high quality coaching, coupled with a professional ethos when working with the players on and off the pitch, including providing an environment for talent to thrive, is something that sets the Mercian Marauders apart.

The experience that the Mercian Marauders players get is one that stays with them and helps to develop them as a player for the future. This aligns with our brand ethos of supporting grassroots hockey and ultimately helping the next generation of the hockey family flourish, develop and reach their potential in
the game we love.

We have developed a strong partnership with the Mercian Marauders since 2024, however our support of the players will not end after the UK Lions Tournament. Our ambassador program helps to support players with high quality equipment through discounts and support and offers options to involve them in our product development.

Ambassadors are often asked for their thoughts and ideas on our equipment, including trialling prototypes. We have a steadily growing range of over 100 ambassadors, from grassroots players and coaches, right the way through to international athletes and umpires. We have organised an ambassador day this year to show our appreciation of their representation of our brand week in and week out on the pitch, and their role in growing our brand and ultimately helping to support grassroots hockey. All that we ask in return is that our ambassadors help to spread the word about eighteen with their team mates and through social media.
